Sara & Matt – Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

It was at the Jazz Estate that this Sara and Matt, who grew up miles apart, lived mere blocks apart, and work just 1 block from each other finally found their worlds intersecting.  From there, their love grew.

Sara’s infectious joy set the tone for the day, and carried on throughout.  Matt and Sara’s whole day was filled with love, joy, and plenty of sparkling glasses.

We had the amazing chance to shoot on the stage at The Pabst (

Sara and Matt were just as concerned about the details as they were about the big picture, and it paid off.  Their thoughtful wedding was an amazing reflection of their taste, style, and the things that are most important to them.  There were great beer choices and handmade boutonnieres, an amazing music selection, paired with equally amazing lighting, and best of all, a grand march on scooters (an awesome reflection of Matt and Sara’s love for scooters.)

Thank you Sara and Matt for letting us be a part of your amazing day.

Jessica & Jeff – Lake Geneva Wedding Photographer

The day started with the ominous threat of thunderstorms, never an ideal situation for an outdoor wedding.

As I photographed Jeff outside on the Patio of The Abby in Lake Geneva, a few clouds opened up and gave it all they had for 5 minutes before they packed up and left a beautiful day in their wake (and hey, rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck.)

Jeff and the guys arrived at the ceremony by boat… the ladies from the yacht club.  Jess adn Jeff had a wonderful, heartfelt and tearful ceremony.

Jess and Jeff created, as Jeff called it, “the fanciest BBQ.”  Their laid back, go with the flow style made for an party that was simply fun for all.  I really enjoyed photographing their special day and know they’ll look back on it fondly for the rest of their lives.

Happy honeymoon and congratulations Jess and Jeff!

Katie & Brian – Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

Katie and Brian’s wedding is one I knew would be a blast.  At their engagement session, they were simply fun to be around and I thought that really came through in the photos.  For a lot of people, once the cameras are on them, they start to try, at least a little if not a lot.  But Katie and Brian were exactly the same people with or without the cameras.  Part of the reason for this may be the fact that been together for over 10 years, as we learned at their wedding.  Somehow, they have managed that delicate balance of solid reliability while still keeping each other, as evidenced by the classic convertible Katie surprised Brian with to transport them from the ceremony to the Legend at Brandybrook.  It’s not often a bride with a long veil hops into a convertible after her ceremony, but that’s the kind of girl Katie is.

Calfa and I had great time throughout the day with the wonderful family and friends that were gathered in support of Katie and Brian.  The feeling of love was palpable and we were honored to share in it.
